„Apple Maps on the web launches in beta“

Die Bibliothek wird als eine im Jahr 2018 eröffnete öffentliche Bibliothek in Helsinki beschrieben und befindet sich im Töölönlahti-Viertel neben dem Helsinki Music Centre und dem Kiasma Museum.

This truly feels like an “MVP” product — the smallest feature-set that Apple could get away with shipping while still offering something compelling. With the exception of the 3rd party created Guides, it’s essentially the 2013 Apple Maps feature-set.

Ich störe mich an der derzeitigen „Your current browser isn’t supported“-Nachricht beim Öffnen von https://beta.maps.apple.com auf dem (zu kleinen?) iPhone-Bildschirm.

Natürlich existiert auf Apples Telefon die (vorinstallierte und optional zu löschende) App. Aber sollte der Webdienst keine Priorität auf ihrer größten und wichtigsten Plattform haben, wenn’s mit MapKit JS obendrein seit einigen Jahren im Web klappt?
