„Gatekeeper doing gatekeeping stuff.“ Heute: der Ignited Emulator

It saddens me to say, but the current version of Ignited will not make it to the App Store. Apple has refused to give it a legitimate review, sending the same copy and pasted „Your app is spam“ message every single time I’ve submit, appealed, or even called them. Ignited development will therefore likely end this year, with 1 or 2 farewell updates to clean things up and polish the app before its shelved. I intend to open Ignited’s TestFlight to a public invite so up to 10,000 users can still enjoy it while I work on other projects, so keep an eye out for that announcement so you get a spot.

Wie gut, dass der App Store eine harte Hand gegen geklonte Software zeigt!

Nein. Die Beleidigung ist, dass sich den als Delta-Fork gestarteten Emulator, der sich seit Frühjahr 2023 mit viel Herzblut ein eigenes Profil erarbeitet, bei Apple (anscheinend) niemand ernsthaft angeschaut hat.
