Das Dev-Team liegt wieder einmal gut im selbst gesteckten Zeitplan. Sowohl das PwnageTool als auch QuickPwn segeln zielsicher auf die Piratenbucht zu.

Im Blogpost wird bereits verraten, das der 3G-Unlock via yellowsn0w nicht auf Firmware 2.2.1 mit neuer Baseband funktioniert. Hier hat Apple wie gewohnt die Sicherheitslücken behoben. Es wird jedoch die Möglichkeit bestehen bleiben das Firmware-Update via Pwnage durchzuführen ohne die Baseband zu aktualisieren.

If you have a 3G iPhone running 2.2 firmware and you want to keep your ability to use yellowns0w (or the option to use it in the future) do NOT use QuickPwn, and do not use the official ipsw or the iTunes update process without using PwnageTool.
