Microsoft streicht OneDrive-Speicher zusammen
Juni 2014:
Our data tells us that 3 out of 4 people have less than 15 GB of files stored on their PC. Factoring in what they may also have stored on other devices, we believe providing 15 GB for free right out of the gate – with no hoops to jump through – will make it much easier for people to have their documents, videos, and photos available in one place.
„Massive increase to OneDrive storage plans: 15 GB free for everyone, 1 TB for Office 365 subscribers“
Oktober 2014
Today, storage limits just became a thing of the past with Office 365. Moving forward, all Office 365 customers will get unlimited OneDrive storage at no additional cost.
We’re thrilled to continue our quest of making OneDrive the world’s cloud storage leader – and, always a key part of the best productivity service with Office 365. We’re all in!
„OneDrive delivers unlimited cloud storage to Office 365 subscribers“
November 2015:
We’re no longer planning to offer unlimited storage to Office 365 Home, Personal, or University subscribers. Starting now, those subscriptions will include 1 TB of OneDrive storage.
Free OneDrive storage will decrease from 15 GB to 5 GB for all users, current and new. The 15 GB camera roll storage bonus will also be discontinued.

So verspielt man Vertrauen.
Mir bleibt schleierhaft wie man dieses Downgrade ernsthaft mit ein paar Ausreißern versucht zu rechtfertigen („a small number of users backed up numerous PCs and stored entire movie collections and DVR recordings“).
