Fred Vogelsteins erstes Kapitel aus seinem Buch 'Dogfight: How Apple and Google Went to War and Started a Revolution' (18.99 €; iBookstore-Link) druckte die NYTimes im Oktober. Die restlichen illustren Erzählungen der bisherigen Ereignisse schrieb er im gleichen Stil auf knapp 300 Seiten nieder.

Teilweise sind es bekannte Anekdoten, zum Teil schiebt er eigene Quellen ein. Wie akkurat seine oft ungenannten Informanten sind, bleibt offen. Mehr Stimmen zu dieser noch hochaktuellen Auseinandersetzung finden sich im Moment aber ohnehin nicht.

Steve Jobs sagte einmal zur Gizmodo-Geschichte über das verlorenen iPhone 4:
